As the wind window approaches (253November 2024), we figured its time to explain how a trick gets scored and what the judges are looking for.

The Magus is our brand new high performance free race, hydrofoil, big air ram air kite from Kitech Universal Kites. The Magus THX for the high stability is a fun kite for old school freestyle too. We rode the new toy in 11-13 knts.

This video looks at the differences between the XCaliber and the Vapor. Both boards are carbon kiteboards and are 138cm. The most noticeable feature difference is that the Vapor feels more aggressive than the XCaliber. What this means is that you can ride faster and push into it harder and you’ll boost higher. The XCaliber feels more smooth making it feel nice for unhooked freestyle.
