The 2023 Cabrinha Contra is Cabrinha’s lightwind kite. We use this kite all the time to teach on and ride. It truly makes those 9-14 kt sessions fun. Kite Foiling 60+ Kilometres around the Isle Of Tiree, the most western Island in the Scottish inner Hebrides. This was my scariest circumnavigation to date as I had never been to Tiree before and I went for it within hours of arriving at conditions were perfect the day I arrived. I felt very exposed but I love the feeling of conquering those fears and completing another island!

No one likes no wind days, however when you are in a place like the Dominican republic, its safe to say that bio days got to waste. So much culture, nature and countryside to explore, from rivers, water falls, horse riding, surfing and that’s just scraping the surface. We lined up with @kiteclub to organise a more ‘adventurous’ excursion to the waterfalls that are hard to reach. Caught in a storm and then back to the coast for a unset surf to make the most of the incoming swell…
One of those days that you couldn’t plan, with good food and good people… the DR does tend to deliver on a lot of levels!!
