Hey guys, welcome back to another week before the shred! This week I am heading to Munich, Germany to checkout the new wave pool that they have just built near the airport! Its an epic new artificial wave, with multiple different break modes, from long point break to a short bowling A-frame.

As surfing wave pools develops, the technology keeps getting better and better, this is a great example of being able to give an in-land city the waves that it needs. Keeping the people of Munich in the water all year round. Although though they have the Ice Bach river wave already, this is a step up on being able to surf proper waves right in the middle of Germany!

After seven days in the desert, five days of kiteboarding over five hours per day. Averaging 100km per day, we finally make it to the last stage of the Dakhla Down Wind Challenge. Kiteboarding the final 80km to the Mauritania boarder between the disputed Western Sahara and Morocco… This is one of the worlds most dangerous boarders and as we kite south through the desert, the need for an army escort grew until we finally made it to the last army base before the boarder. Collected and driven to the boarder crossing, which is the trade route through to Africa… What an insane place to reach by kite! How amazing all of this coastline is, from endless secret waves, constant wind and incredible kite spots all the way from Dakhla down to the boarder…

What has made this experience even more special is to do it with my Father, share the experience with some amazing adventurists and get to know everyone while we where in the middle of this struggle to make it through the experience! Everyone made it! Big smiles at the end, lead to big beers back at the camp and a well deserved rest after such an epic week!
