One of the most exiting hydrofoiling developments ins the last decade has been the ability to ride waves with a surf foil, prone foil, wing foil and now para wing and down winding. The possibility is literally endless with what could come next and it is super exiting to be part of it. Events like the Kernow foil classic that has just run its third year in Cornwall doing amazing things for the awareness of the sport and the development of the industry, not to mention fuel the stoke of the riders that are discovering the best new way to ride waves.

So I jumped in the Isuzu DMAX, threw all the equipment into the back and headed down to the event. Lots of driving, well worth while for the forecast that we scored. Checkout the action from the event, any questions ask in the comments and stay stoked for the shred!

One of the most difficult winds for the Tampa Bay area. The winds are never as strong as forecasted on a NNE wind direction and they are always super gusty. Straight N and NNE winds are the two directions that are not so good for the bay area. Luckily we dont get these winds often.

Making the most out of the struggle! Most of the session was spent trying to stay upwind, but every now and then I would catch a 12 kt gust. I was on a 15m kite, but keep in mind the forecast was forecasting 15-17kts and I was hoping to be on a 12m.
